In just a few days, professional towers from across the country will venture down to sunny Orlando, Florida, for four days of all things towing. April 5-8, 2018, marks the Florida Tow Show 2018, and this year’s expo is certain to be valuable.

Below are a few highlights of this year’s show:
Florida Tow Show 2018 Educational Seminars
It can be difficult to find valuable seminars geared directly toward tow operators, especially when you think about the vast array of knowledge needed to successfully run a towing company. Fortunately, the 2018 Florida Tow Show features several educational opportunities covering a wide variety of topics, including dispatching resources, employee management, hosting driver safety meetings, and online marketing tools.
Lift Marketing Group’s Dennis Wencel and Kevin McMillan will educate towers on the latest Google trends and updates on Saturday at 10am in the Azalea Room. In “Keeping Pace with Google Changes,” Dennis will explain why Google’s ever-changing algorithm requires tow companies to constantly update their website, PPC advertising, review strategy, and social media profiles. He’ll share what Google is looking for this year to drive more cash calls to your business.

Florida Tow Show 2018 Tow Truck Beauty Contest
One of the most anticipated events at each year’s show, the Tow Truck Beauty Contest is sure to impress once again. In it, you’ll find a mixture of gleaming light-duty wreckers and heavy-duty monsters. The industry-leading features and jaw-dropping paint jobs will keep you enamored all day. The Tow Truck Beauty Contest schedule is:

Saturday, April 7 @ 10AM – contest judging begins (across from the Holiday Inn)
Saturday April 7 from 7-10PM – awards presentation
Florida Tow Show 2018 Training Opportunities
The Florida Tow Show 2018 is loaded with two full days of training opportunities for novice and experienced towers alike. You can learn proper techniques for towing luxury and exotic vehicles as well as motorcycles. Or learn about basics of lockouts and avoiding vehicle damages. Furthermore, these are great opportunities to ask any questions you’ve been saving, and if you’ve heard it before, it never hurts to have an annual brush up. Training sessions begin at 9AM on Friday and conclude at 4PM on Saturday.
